I think I'm gonna give this a go =] I'm just wondering if he should be full-grown in the image or still look fairly young.

Grr, I'm having some issues with my tablet right now. The entire image is together - lighting and everything - but I can't get the mane and tail done until I fix this (hopefully) minor little problem. ^^ Sorry for any delay my silly pen tablet might cause!

Oh awesome! It's fine :3
What's your problem? I have a tablet too, so I know the headache they can be sometimes.

Well, my problem started out with just the pen pressure function, but I think my tablet kicked the bucket altogether today. The pen won't register at all and now the mouse it came with won't work either. I think the pad finally just gave up. =/
Ah well, maybe I can get someone to collaborate and get you a silvery white mane and tail, because the image itself is rather lovely. I'd hate to drop it altogether. What timing! -_-

Well, I know if you run the program 'as administrator' it fixes the problem with your tablet - in photoshop, at least.
Perhaps it's your wire? Mine had the same issue and I replaced the wire and then it worked just fine. So did my friend who had the same exact tablet. (we have the bamboo funs)

Wow. So I got really frustrated and unplugged the thing. I went to check the wire like you suggested but I have a graphire and the wire is attached. I frisbee'd it onto my bed and started looking at prices for the intuos and whatnot, realizing I had some money from Christmas stashed away. (I was less than pleased at what I found there.)
After dinner and a few hours of moping and stomping about my room, I plugged it back in and voila...Not only does it work but the pen pressure feature is working as good as ever. Dunno what happened there, buuuuut....
Long story, short. Your picture is back in ze works!
