Physical Appearance: Completely black with a long mane and tail. His hair has a slight wave but isn't as wavy as the show horses we often see. He's 17hh so quite tall and he has a powerful, muscular build. Also, his eyes are a beautiful cobalt blue which is also his favourite colour.

Personality: Good natured and kind hearted. He's very loving and amazingly loyal. He believes that his mares should live with him out of respect and choice, not fear and force. Although he is very well mannered and polite, Max isn't a pushover, which some mistake him for - if needs be he can defend himself, his home or his mares viciously.

Image Ideas: Okay so, I'm not really asking for lots of specifics, I think it'll turn out better if I let you just go and be creative, especially since I don't even have any solid ideas. Right, the only things that are really important to me that you get them in the picture is his eye colour, coat colour and some lovely long hair. ^^ I'd like him to be all majestic looking; maybe powerful but something light, nothing too dark with him being black already and I don't want him to come across as scary at all. I'd also love it is he could be perhaps looking out from a cliff or something like that but I'm not bothered if you can't find something suitable; just go with what you think looks best. I don't think I want any text on the image but if you think you've got the perfect place then you can put his name on. I may ask for a quote adding when I see it unless that's trouble but I often swap and change so I don't think I'll be tying this picture down to one quote. Basically I've only got one thing I might nag about: please make it look as realistic as possible! Also, if you can without comprimising the image, could you make it no wider than 800px please, preferably around 600-700px? Other than that just go for it, I'm giving you pretty much creative freedom.I think that's it so please and thank you in advance to whoever takes this order for me, I really appreciate it.

Example post with requested character: Maximus was feeling more himself these days. He felt that finding a home had been the kick start he’d needed to stop moping around and start making an effort to build a new life here, on The Lost Islands. Sure, getting over his past would be difficult and some of the emotional scars would never heal, but he was going to try and woe betide anyone who attempted to stop him from doing his best. Living with not being good enough was hard but he could handle that; being forced to under perform however, was something that he wouldn’t settle for. Not again.

Bellum had been kind enough to let him stay in The Inlet and Maximus felt as though he wouldn’t be doing his duty if he didn’t at least attempt to socialise with some women. Of course he would love it if somebody agreed to come home with him; if not, he would have lost nothing and gained an experience. It had become second nature for him to look on the bright side – it kept him going. So, that was why Max had chosen to venture out to The Meadows today.

He walked briskly through the snow although he had no need to keep warm through movement (his thick, ebony pelt saw to that). Snowflakes caught in his damp feathers and long, dark tresses, making him look much like some kind of huge, deformed Dalmatian. He smiled to himself at this thought – there would be no one with the gift of sight that would mistake a large, seventeen hands high Friesian for any kind of dog.

Still a little amused at his own joke, Max looked around, squinting through the snow, until a pretty blue roan caught his eye. She was beautiful, her stunning colour complimenting the white, wintry landscape perfectly. Her hair was tangled but it didn’t detract from her beauty; blue was Max’s favourite colour and he simply couldn’t pass on the opportunity to at least have a conversation with her.

Making a feeble attempt to shake the snow from his coat, Max made his way over to the stranger at a swift jog in his eagerness the meet her. As he came closer he noticed that she was making a strange noise – it was melodic, musical even. It brought a smile to his face. Stopping a few feet away from her, taking care not to invade her personal space, he smiled friendlily and spoke.

“Hello there,” he began, voice kind and even. “The snow’s fabulous today, isn’t it? Would you mind if I kept you company since you're here by yourself?” He paused momentarily before introducing himself: “I’m Maximus – but please, call me Max.”
