Example post with requested character: (Bah, it's long, I know.) ...IT HAD TAKEN a while for arcanum to decide to have a foal. but, in the end, she decided it was time to try and move on. she couldn't cling to the past forever. it had been a whole year now, and it was time to move on. and arcanum felt that a foal with viddi was a good start. she truly hoped it was a girl. she'd always wanted a daughter, but there was more. she wouldn't be able to bear having a colt. it would break her heart.
...OF COURSE, SHE knew she was pregnant. she recognized the signs, her signs, and this random mood swing was one of them. but, her thoughts were interrupted by viddi moving. he was stretching his head out to her, looking as if he was going to touch her. but she didn't need the warning. she could never be afraid of viddi. she could feel him leaning against her withers, and she smiled and let her eyes close, taking in the feel of his touch.
...HER HEART WAS racing a mile a minute. what was this? was this just her hormones? or was this something more? arcanum had heard of something like this. it was a rare occurrence in her old herd, and it never seemed to last long. that, or they left, those equines that fell in love. apparently, love was a thing that brought two lives together and made them happy. but once they were happily in love, they weren't under the absolute control of her father. he always made sure something happened to break them up. that, or the couple made sure to leave before anything could happen.
...WAS SHE FALLING in love? falling for viddi? she couldn't be sure, but she felt like the feelings she had for viddi weren't the normal feelings towards a friend. wasn't it a bit fast to be falling in love? maybe, but viddi was the first horse to not only see her delicate, pale body and her glacier blue eyes, but to see that there was somebody underneath that. she felt accepted, so maybe it made sense. but she realized with a jolt that there was no way he could feel the same. this was arcanum we were talking about her. viddi would most likely be more attracted to a mare that could talk and laugh with him. but, at least that made sense. arcanum could live with it. nothing could be worse that what happened to her before she came here.
...VIDDI PULLED AWAY then, and arcanum felt this strange ache in her chest. she liked being close to viddi, but she didn't want to push her luck. arcanum looked up at viddi with a half-smile on her face, the words "I'm sorry" written in her eyes. she didn't want to force herself onto viddi, that wouldn't be fair to him.
