Hmm, im not sure on your work, i think you could deffiantely improve a little more, and also i realised when you make shadows, you always go underneath the horse, it would only go underneath deapending on the light above the horse, I Have got a link to a good tut if you would like me to send it to you, and you need to work on your lighting skills & You can use the Burn tool (For Shadows) & the Dodge Tool for Lighting On The Horse With Background. Overall i like you piece in the sky with the horse, but the text seems out of place, like their's too much writing in one straight line. And i would say to practice more with the movement of the Mane & Tail's and don't over smudge them too much, look at reference images to get the feel of the way they go. And i really like the Leopard Horse, very unique idea ^^ Overall i love the colours you use in your artwork, And it is going to be a Trial, for me based on the points i have stated.

Thankyou I know how to make shadows, it's mainly laziness XD but I'll start doing them properly My programme doesn't have burn or dodge tools, so I usually make do unless I can get hold of CS3 at my aunts; and I know about the mane and tails; I'm trying to figure out a better way to do them, but again, my programme doesn't allow anything other than basic brushes and so I can't use tail brushes, and I generally just paint them in with my mouse (something I'm not particularly good at yet) xP Not to make excuses or anything XD My programme is limited Edit: I've had a look at some mane and tail tutorials and I am going to attempt different ways and see if they look any better and I wouldn't mind glancing at the shadow tutorial, actually, just out of interest. Thanks <3
