Species: Horse
Age: Six or seven, not specific
Gender: Female
Breed: Lusitano, but any Spanish type breed will do.
Colour: Gray (Advanced gray, so in essence “white”)
Physical Appearance: Marara defines herself by grace. She embodies the classic ‘Spanish horse’ in that she always lifts her feet high and her head carriage is always high with an almost overly-arched neck. She has advanced greying for her age, making her almost a pure milky white. Her muzzle and legs are darker gray, reminiscent of a black that fades very quickly into her white. However, these darker marks are no necessary if not possible. Perhaps the most important things about her are the facts that she is an elemental and has an unusual mane and tail. She controls earth and has an emerald set in her skin right in the hollow of her neck, where her head meets her neck. Due to the strange place this is located, it may not need to be shown. Her tail, instead of being hair is actually a white peacock’s tail. (See references) She does not have the ability to lift it up like a peacock so from a distance, the tail looks simply like a very overlong, over full horse’s tail. She has a stray feather or two laced into her mane as well, though these are much more subtle. She is also extremely petite, being only just over 14 hands but very delicate at the same time.
Personality: Marara is quite complex in her personality. She is originally somewhat naive but sly, cunning, and ambitious. In many ways now, life has thrown her some curve balls. She has lost most of that childish naivety now, though the other characteristics have only been multiplied. She has some darker spark in her now due to events that have happened to her. She is more likely to attack than trust and more lust than love. If you need more on this, feel free to ask. =)

Image Ideas: One thing I’m adamant on with this image is I would really like it to convey clear emotion. This character is basically my baby. The picture would probably be best served as a darker image however, I would prefer that she stand out, like in the references. She practically glows, even in the darkness. Incorporating something about her Earth element too would be awesome as she often feels it is the only thing that could never betray her. If I had to pick the emotion and feel I wanted in this picture, I could do so in about 2 words: Aloneness and longing

Comments: It needs to fit within Hoof Prince's layout confines, I'm not sure exactly how big that is. Also, I'm hoping that this will be a 'forever' image, so hopefully I can have her come across well.
